I Pay You to Lose Weight

Obesity in the United Kingdom has shown very encouraging panoramas. In this country it is estimated that by the middle of the century that runs most of the population suffer from obesity, as trends are increasingly growing, and it all seems to come together for people to get fat.
Sedentary work, lack of sports, junk food … Everything is conspiring in favor of the extra kilos and the accumulation of fat, while many Britons turn a blind eye and continue eating.
But this is not a problem strictly personal. Of course, the obese have to deal with problems not only are part of the psychology of obesity, fat makes many feel marginalized and discriminated against, and we look to see where it is undeniable that “the weak always win.” The problems the obese suffer pocket, as the amount of diseases associated with obesity are not few, and treatments are not cheap, so to speak.
But Dad State of the European countries will never sit idly by in these situations. Boasting of paternalism (in my view clearly unjustifiable) the British state has been willing to eliminate obesity once and for all of his country, and this has initiated a campaign that has generated little criticism.
The State seeks to eliminate obesity in their country through the implementation of a system that encourages people with extra kilos to lose weight through economic benefits, interesting jobs and awards.
Of course, hard to think of this in terms cortoplazistas. The ideologues of this proposal aimed to return the levels of childhood obesity (among other things) to those that existed in 2000 (26%), and this more than silver and organization takes time.
I do not know if this is a clever strategy. I agree that the state cares about the individuals who compose it, but then to encourage the obese to lose weight by paying a distance I think there are very long and arduous. What can you say to a thin bothered by paying a person to lose weight? Because do not forget that state funds out of fat and thin. Anyway here come those boring questions of political philosophy and liberalism that have nothing to do with the theme of this blog. The reality is this and is already raised, we hope to deliver results.
