After that, he proceeded and joined the UCLA Surgery Center and took up his residency there and 2 years more for research on Plastic Surgery. He then trained for microsurgery and plastic surgery in New York University where he was able to work in other hospitals too such as Mount Sinai Hospital, Tische and Bellevue Hospitals.
