Why Kids Hate Vegetables?

All people have these genes, which come in two versions: one is more sensitive to bitter tastes than the other. If sensitive genes prevail, then we do not like too much vegetables.
This research looked at 143 children with their mothers and concluded that over 79% of children had two copies of that gene. To the surprise of experts, the presence of this gene TAS2R38 has a great impact on children’s food preferences. So parents, it’s so hard to get kids rooting for a vegetable dish.
